Resting
Ashley has been tranferred to the post-op ICU for the night. She's feeling the effects of the surgery and is keeping a low profile for the time being.

Ashley's surgery to stabilize her spine was successful. She's on her way to the recovery room.

Ashley is being prepped for surgery to stabilize her spine. The chief neurosurgeon is optimistic, considers the procedure routine.
The surgery is scheduled for 7:30 and should last four hours.

Out of ICU
Ashley sat through a long, hot MRI this afternoon and has been moved to a private room.
She's in great spirits.

Why this is here
Ashley was thrown from a horse on March 29 and suffered significant back injury. She is being treated at the University of Virginia medical center.
